YEN

By Anna Jordan

Bobbie and Hench are home alone in a squalid flat in Feltham, playing PlayStation, streaming porn, watching the world go by. Sometimes their Mum Maggie visits, usually with empty pockets and empty promises, but life goes on. Then Jenny shows up.

A stunning play that explores how two boys, who have been forced to grow up alone in a world of violence and poverty experience affection for the first time.

‘A stunning sense of naturalism develops... Yen makes you forget about your Fringe, immersing you in a rich tapestry of character and emotion... Fourth Wall Theatre are a professional-standard company, and deserve to be seen far and wide over the next few weeks.’ - ***** The 730 Review

'So, if you want to see something hard-hitting but rewarding THIS is the show to see this festival.' - ***** DarkChat

‘Words cant do this play justice but it has a special spark’.. ‘Invigorating and Brutal... will take hold and not let you go until the last breath’ - **** VoiceMag

'This play sums up what good theatre should be' - ***** The Bubble
